Hi, I used Tand T for my engagement party and my parents anniversary party. I know Hal and he is great.

T&T Video - thumbs down
This is an example of different brides having very different experiences. I called T&T 2 years ago to do the video of our wedding last year. At the time, hubby and I were living in California, and had to do a lot of the planning by internet and telephone. I asked T&T to send me a sample tape so that I could decide if I wanted to meet with them during one of my trips back to LI.The video they sent me in the mail was blank. When I called to tell them, they were (understandably) embarrassed, and they promised to send a new tape out right away. A few days later, the new tape arrived in the mail. Guess what? It was also completely blank.
Long story short - I didn't even bother calling them back b/c I felt that such a blatant oversight didn't deserve my money or my business - especially on such an important day. Just my opinion!

I have booked Bellarino Video for my wedding. I loved meeting with Phil, his presentation and his overall work.

Re: Still need video T&T any good?
I'm using T&T -- I can't speak to the quality of their work, but I can tell you that they are cheap. My video will cost about $800, including a DVD. (Basically, we had no intention of getting a video -- but now my Father's sick -- so just in case he can't be there, we'll have something to show him).

Re: Still need video T&T any good?
thanks guys!i did meet with Wild Rose but they were a little too expensive.
i also met with bellarino who is my first in the running right now.
I went to T&Ts website and there are no packages for $800, did he work this out with you? That is kinda wierd with the blank tapes and all too, but at least they were blank, not horrible lol

Call Wild Rose
Tara - I would recommend calling Marie - or drop her an e-mail - and explain your pricing concerns to her. My fiancee and I almost didn't go with them which would have been a HUGE mistake. If you search under my name, you'll find my post about them. The Reader's Digest version is they found out I was sticker shocked and Marie e-mailed me to explain how all of the packages can be done in a variety of different ways to fit our budget. It is definetely worth a call - I would be sooooo unhappy, if she didn't contact me! There work is wonderful - I didn't feel pressured - and they blew everyone else out of the water. Good luck!

I feel you get what you pay for. Be careful!

Re: T&T
Basically I'm getting a basic video -- not digital (but I saw a sample of both and I didn't see a noticable difference), and my video will have no animation and no interviews, etc.Yes, I'll get what I pay for -- And what I don't want to pay for is an Academy Award winning film. All I want & need is a record of what happened. I saw samples of their work and I though they did a fine job.
Everyone's got their own priorities in wedding planning

Re: T&T
Tara-I know you were bummed that Videomaker didn't call you back (he was away). He's back and we met with him on Sunday to give him our baby pics. You might want to try him one more time, since he is so reasonably priced. It couldn't hurt to talk to him.
Who knows? If you explain what happened (that you called and he didn't get back to you ASAP) he may throw something else in your package.
I know it's a concern when vendors are late in calling back (makes you think they may be late the day of, etc.) so you may have already crossed him off your list. I wouldn't blame you! If you're not confident in your vendor, you'll just end up stressing about it.
