Still want a wedding planner/coordinator....

but haven't gotten the nerve to call one of the ones recommended.

I'm actually nervous about it because I have people telling me that I don't need one and that I'll be wasting my money

Hmm...I'm kind of remember them telling me at WM that you get a assistant (I think?) but I'm not sure if they'll be able to make sure the aisle is set up the way I want it, flowers, placecards, etc....

I really don't want mom running around dong this...

Well it dosent sound like you need a wedding planner. If you are worried about someone taking care of everything the day of the wedding only why dont you look into a day of coordinator??? they are not nearly as expensive.. if you do a search you will see alot of us girls are using them and you will find names and price ranges.
