I am a BM in my friends ( ) wedding this friday.. I am wearing a long gown but i have sandal shoes.
Would you wear stockings? When i got the shoes i never thought it was going to still be this cold.

Re: Stocking Question
No. If they are open toe you cannot wear stockings. Maybe get a pair of spanx that come down to your calves so you will still be warm.
ETA: Here is a pic from the site. No one will see them under the dress.

Re: Stocking Question
I went to a black tie dinner this past Saturday night and had a gown, open toed shoes and no pantyhose. I was fine, not cold or anything. I'm sure they won't make you walk through the snow to get anywhere

Re: Stocking Question
They make stockings specifically for open toe shoes. The toe part is open, and there is a small loop you place around your big toe. I've seen them in Nordstrom and sometimes in Macys. They are comfortable, and are great for open toed shoes in the winter.
