I know this is a stupid question- but i'm getting married in May and my dress is about 50 lbs - do i HAVE to wear stockings ?? is it tacky and trashy if I don't ?? - I thought it was fine until my mom's 'sewing circle' flipped out on me !

DO NOT wear the thigh highs that have the rubber band inside. I got blisters on my leg (I still have a scar 6 months later)

My sister didnt and when she told people they all freaked b/c she was the happiest person in the world. She didnt wear her garter all night though b.c it was bothering her, She just put in on before they took it off and did the b-qout.

I actually want to wear thigh highs, I think they are so sexy, my problem is I want to wear open toe shoes, that might be tacky! Maybe I'll do without

I keep debating this topic .. part of me wants to go 'stockingless' because I just hate them, and in July I'm going to be roasting .. but another part of me thinks thigh-highs are really sexy and FH will like knowing I have them on
But since I haven't decided on a shoe yet, I'll figure it out after then ..

I'm wearing stockings - nude color. I'm getting married in May and my gown is heavy too, but I don't mind stockings.
I just think my legs look better in stockings, especially for the garter toss JMO
