6. Was the proposal romantic or creative? Explain how if you'd like. It was romantic. We were at dinner for our anniversary, and then he took me down by the water, where we always go, and out on the boardwalk is where the magic happened..lol

7. Where do you want to go for your honeymoon, and how soon after your wedding? We went the next day. We stayed at the grand Floridian right next to Diney. It was beautiful and they treated us like famous people!!

I had a budget, but we went over it anyway!! Little things sure can add up!!

We went to MAUI two days after the wedding!

It was privately done. He proposed in my apt.

We're thinking of going to Mexico in July/Aug. 2009 evern though we're getting married in Dec. 2008

We bought our wedding bands with money we both saved.

Yes I do have a wedding budget and we're right about where I thought we would be.

Not really .. he gave me a trip to Savannah for christmas in 2006 and I had a pretty good idea that he was going to propose there.

Nope, love what I have.

I thought I was going to bawl, but I was so happy that I mainly just smiled. I think I choked up a bit.

It was a little of both. He proposed on St. Patricks Day 2007 in Forsyth Park in Savannah Ga, this gorgeous park with a big fountain ... and he sat me down on a bench and asked if I knew what 'ahn bohs ay too may' means, and I said no, and he said, 'it means 'will you marry me?' in gaelic.

7. Where do you want to go for your honeymoon, and how soon after your wedding?
We are going to Alaska and we are leaving on Nov 2.

I did, yes.

We had one and we didn't go over.

7. Where do you want to go for your honeymoon, and how soon after your wedding? We are going to Atlantis for 5 days and then on a 7 day western caribbean cruise. We are going 10 days after the wedding

I thought I wanted a round plain ring but I really love my princess cut ring

Yes! I knew we were going to get married I just didnt know when he was going to ask. He asked me the very last day of our trip to Florida on a beach when I was sleep. I didnt think it was going to happen on the trip but I was completely blown away.

the size I have is perfect.

No I was more in shock... when he asked me I said NO haha

I wanted to go to Bora Bora but that was out of our price range, we ended up booking a trip to whistler in Dec

We went to Barclay in the mall he wanted a stainless steal band.

Yes I do and we did go a bit over since we had last min cancelations and no shows... but its ok I had a great time at my wedding.

We dated just under 3 years - 9/16/07 would've been our 3 year anniversary and he proposed 9/10

2. Did you get the ring you wanted? It's funny, b/c when we'd been looking at rings, I always said I didn't like the antique-set ones. Well, he got me one anyway, and I adore it LOL!

3. Was the proposal a complete surprise? Yes! We were in Aruba and I had a slight feeling that it might have happened there, but that day, he TOTALLY threw me off - he is quite proud of himself LOL!

5. Did you cry when he proposed? I did get a little teary-eyed, but since we were the center of attention I didn't bawl or anything LOL!

6. Was the proposal romantic or creative? Explain how if you'd like. We were at a restaurant in Aruba. After the sun set, we ordered our food and then he excused himself to go to the bathroom. In the meantime, our appetizers came, so I began to eat (I'm so polite LOL). Next thing I know, I hear, 'Excuse me, Hun Buns...' I look over and he is down on his knee next to my chair!!! The whole restaurant was watching us and clapping and everything! I loved it!

7. Where do you want to go for your honeymoon, and how soon after your wedding? We left 2 days after our wedding and we went to St. Kitts. We had a great time!

8. Are you buying his wedding band for him? He actually paid for both wedding bands since I had been paying for a lot of the other things, and I paid for our HM, too!

YES! I told him I wanted an emerald cut though so it had it pretty easy!

YES!!! I had NO idea. I had taken a shower and washed off all my makeup and had wet hair. If I knew it was coming I would have prepared better for pics!

HA! Of course. I couldnt believe it was happening. I burst out crying and screamed ARE YOU SERIOUS??

It was neither. It was more on DH's level. Since he's not romantic or creative. haha. but it was fun and sweet. which is just like him. and it revolved around food--which is just like me!

we went to Mexico! left the next morning!

we're splitting the cost of the 2 rings

Its an original he went to a place and drew a picture and had them made it. It's actually what I always said I liked but now an original and from DH heart!

No. I almost stopped breathing.

Creative. He is from upstate and we were going fishing he got on one knee to get me a new fishing lore and when I looked it was an apple (I am a teacher) then he opened it and there was a ring and he asked me to marry him!

We went to St. Lucia he would of loved Canada on a fishing trip.

Yes I did.

It was super romantic...he did it out on our boat at night on Sept. 1st under the moonlight.

We stayed out in Montauk for the week after our wedding, but will most likely be going to Mexico in the winter of 09

We had a general idea for the budget and we only went over about $500
