It was my first year teaching and the people I work w/ are big happy hour goers. Anyway the second month of school we went out and one of the guys I work w/ brought his friend (fh). I did not even look twice at him, well we ended up going top the crazy donkey later that night and we had such a good time, he asked for my # and didn't call me for about a week, anyway that next weekend we had our first date and 6 months later we moved in together. I always say I was meant to get this particular job b/c I turned down 2 other districts to work where I am now and if it wasn't for my job I would have never met him

Ahhhh, here goes:
I was interning at an elementary school. I got home one day and had a friend request from a band on myspace. I added them. Well, I emailed back and forth a bit to the lead singer and then got an IM from the bass player. The bass player worked where I interned but in the high school. I met him for coffee and we talked on IM a bit. We became friends. He invited me to the recording studio in the city one weekend. So, off I went. I met my FH (the drummer) outside the studio. Two 40's later we apparently made out all night, I puked on myself and the rest is history!!!!
And yes, I'm serious.
And no, we're not friends with the bass player and the band is no more.

I met FH at a New Paltz frat party. I was visiting my friend, she went to the school, and for some reason I didn't want to go that night. My stomach hurt and I just wasn't in the mood. FH was dragged there also and he didn't want to go. I evenutally got drunk and spotted FH and was kinda looking at him the whole night. It turns out his friend had been hooking up my my friends roommate. So there friends set up the whole thing because she knew I thought FH was hot. We talked the whole night and hungout. What was bad though was he called my house the next day and my mom told me. I was like I don't know anyone named Jon. MY friend and I couldn't think until she was like it was that guy from last night...lol I thought it was fate because we both didn't want to go and his friend was hooking up with someone I went to the party with. We were meant to meet.

my fiance and I met his first semester in college. We were in a movement for stage class and our professor had everyone 'feel eachother's aura' the first day of class. he was very shy since it was his first day of college and i was a crazy outgoing chick with blue hair.
we didnt start dating till a few years later, but the next semester we worked on a play together and became best friends. we had a HUGE falling out a year later when i was 'engaged' to someone else. didnt speak for almost a year. then we both got assigned to work on a play a week before it opened. Being back in OUR spot just felt right. it was like nothing had happened, and no time had passed. I wound up breaking things off with the guy i was 'engaged' to and FH and i started dating a week later. Moved in together less than two months later...
and the rest is history! i knew i liked his aura!!

Fate works in a mysterious way! For me, this EX mutual friend was someone I was friends with on and off again for years.....I always knew we'd have another blow out, which I promised would be the LAST because face it, I am not desperate for 'friends' and will not settle for bad ones...I know he was God's reward for being so kind to such a miserable person and giving her so many chances to become a better one. Things happen for a reason!

well i knew who FH was for years, we grew up 2 blocks away and he delivered to me for 4 years(probably said this a bunch of times on here lol) funny think i never knew he lived 2 blocks away but i used to see him out.
ANyways one night i went out with a friend who knew him and he was out with 2 guys i knew so everyone was talking and he decided to come over and ask me to get a drink with him. Then when we were all leaving the club my car was to the right a few blocks away and his friends were parked to the left so FH was like ill walk you to the car, and his friend pulled my friend and said hey come with us we'll drive you to denises car let him walk her...then my friend called and said if i minded that his friends will drive her home and if i mind driving fh home, so i said no of course not and the rest is history. GOtta love how his friends took action lol
Also i hadnt seen him in a while and always thought he was hott and i had seen him not too long before we hooked up and i was telling my friends how he was hott and wanted him lol..i had my eye on him for a bit before

FH and I met probably when we were around 5 years old. My best friend, who lived across the street from me, went to elementary school with him and they were friends, so he would come and play on my block every now and then. They remained friends throughout the years and then when we were around 16 or so, we became really close, were best friends for about two years, then decided to date for a while but that didnt work out but we remained friends. Sophomore year in college we realized we were meant to be and have been together ever since!

Met FH in a business Mgmt class. I was sitting next to one of the older students....which happened to be his childhood nanny.....he came over to 'talk to her' but we ended up chattin.
