Thats awesome! I went completely opposite on my dress...I dont have any pics right now but will post some soon.

I originally had my heart set on a Private Label dress, the one Preshy wore for her wedding but wound up getting a Maggie-there is a better pic of her dress! IT looked gorgeous on her and I thin that is why I leaned toward it

Not too different since it's the same bodice just a different skirt. At point I fell in love with a few Maggie dresses but I love mine

Jenn, it's super simple! Just go to the pic of your dress (wherever it is on the internet- if it's in one of your photo albums or on a website), right click on the picture, and a menu will pop up. Go to
properties, then copy the http address for the image. Then when you go to post it in the thread, go to insert web image, and paste the address in there! voila, that's all it is!!

Glad to help, Jenn! isn't it an awesome feeling? Once I learned that, it made things so much easier- too bad not every website does that! I often go and copy properties for email but I keep forgetting it doesn't work that way in email! That shows you how addicted I am to this site!

I never really had one that I wanted from a magazine or website...just had MANY i tried on and though 'this could be the one'(as you can see on the Left)...then once i put on MY dress (right) i knew that was it! It was alot more 'traditional' than i thought i'd get.

The dresses are very similar but the one I ordered has the long, detailed train like I wanted. I love it!

Could I play but put a twist on it?

I'd always admired Maggie Sottero's Monterey...even before I got engaged I would look and just kinda 'knew' it was it for me. I was lucky enough at my first appointment looking at Maggie dresses, that they actually had the dress (it's very hard to find!). It was the first one tried on. I loved it, tried on a bunch more that day but kept coming back to it. But I saw this one and thought...hmmm I need to try this one, Samara Lynette:



I tried it on and then I was sooooo confused! Ugh the dress is just gorgeous- all that detail, I could stare at it all day. But yet, I kept comparing it to Monterey. I was going back and forth between Monterey and Samara, and the one I ended up choosing when I finally had that pit in your stomach, eyes welling up, 'this is the one' feeling was Monterey. I guess I felt that the dress was wearing me in Samara Lynette, whereas Monterey was me IN the dress. I am just into more simple looks I guess. Could the two dresses be any more different? I always thought I'd have a sheath or mermaid type dress. As you can see, it didn't quite work out that way!!
