Your too cute!!!! There's nothing 'stolen' off this site. We all share our ideas here and if we want to keep something private, well then we keep our mouths shut. Everything here is meant to help, so 'steal' all you want!!![]()

Re: Stolen ideas
How can anyone be stealing anything wedding related from anyone? All you need to do is do a Google search and there are tons of pictures and ideas out there. Who's to say who actually came up with an idea? I am using a four tiered silver serving tray filled with flowers as my centerpieces, but I stoll the tray idea from some big name floral and event planner. Will she come and hunt me down? No. Why? Because ideas are not exclusive, copyrights and trademarks are.I work in publishing and I deal with plagiarism all the time. I know what is legal and what isn't.
If someone writes a poem and protects it by copyright and someone else copies the poem and designs it on a card and sells it, that goes against copyright laws unless you pay permissions fees.
Ideas are free and even when copied, they are usually not exactly the same.
Steal my ideas, if I have any good ones! Please!!!

I stole:
My jewelry from Xelindrya
My father/daughter song from Nsgraham
My placecard table idea & cake from photos posted by unknowns.
PLEASE, I'M SO SORRY!!! SPARE MY LIFE, LET ME LIVE, and I promise to do only good from now on!!!
(or at least until someone posts a really good idea for BM gifts!)![]()
Steffie -
I'm really pleased with myself for the BM gifts I'm doing.
I saw this GORGEOUS Kimono Robe at Victoria's Secret, that's just about the same shade as my BM dress. I'm going to buy one for each girl (maybe get them monogrammed with an Initial), and put them in Baskets with a few small bath/spa products.
I'm sure I've stolen my share of ideas off this site - it's a wonderful site! Off the top of my head - Laurie's (AliasPook) Cocktail Hour is so far the highlight of my year!
Honestly, I don't know what I'd do without you girls!

Besides, the Knot was around way before this site...where do you think all the 'original ideas' came from?!?!
Egad, how full of yourself do you need to be to think that you actually came up with ALL the original ideas out there? Puh-lease, 'Original Idea' is an oxymoron.

I could list all I have 'stolen' but it's too many. My policy is...if I don't want anyone to use...I will keep my big mouth shut. Otherwise, aren't we here to help and share ideas. I love to share so if you need any ideas, let me know and I will do the same too.

For all of those who stole the bouquet crystals idea... Do you have to buy them yourself and give them to the florist or do they usually have them already ?? thanks
i am making mine...i bought the wire 24 guage from michaesl, the crystals are 4 mm swarovski but you can go bigger, and i got them on ebay for 6 bucks, and although they are not in my bouquet yet, they look awesome...i really recommend getting the swarvoski crystals b/c they sparkle so nicely. so much so that i am going to sew a couple more into my veil.

lets all keep on stealing from each other. In a way it makes each of us a part of the others wedding day and that is kind of cool.
