It's OK... I am not using those. We decided to go with the tea length ones. Actually I checked the prce at the Wedding Center today... they are $162.

Re: Stolen ideas
I wouldn't say I have 'stolen', just used ideas as inspiration form various sources.

Maribelle,My friend picked up these frames for me about two weeks ago at the dollar store in the source mall. They are not cheap looking at all. They are heavy and not made of plastic. We are using them for the table numbers. She added the rose petals inside the frame, but you get the idea.

Re: Stolen ideas
I 'stole' so much stuff! My cake was exactly like Wino1's, I even took a pic of her cake to the catering hall to have them do it the same.
I used picture frames for the placecards, can't even remember who gave me that idea.
Someone gave away bottles of wine, took that one too.
Hanging table cards and naming the tables after vineyards instead of numbering them.
I was a plagiaristic maniac. Anyone who had a good wine related idea...I was all over it!
I thought that was what we were supposed to do here.
I even told some people that I was stealing their ideas, they encouraged me!!
Edited to say...I think I stole Jenny2Penny's idea for a gift for my mom, I know I stole it, just not sure who from!!

Re: Stolen ideas
One of the things that impresses me most about this site is everyone's desire to share their ideas and help one another. I don't undertand the point of this thread, but 'stolen' is a strong word. Personally, I consider imitation a high form of flattery. Any ideas you take from someone else should be considered a compliment and nothing more. If you don't want your idea copied, then you shouldn't share it so openly.

Re: Stolen ideas
One thing we are going to do is next the champagne glass by each setting will be a jello shot. First the toast then the shot. We are HUGE jello shot lovers and are known to bring them camping and to bbq's in the summer. Nothing toooooo crazy but a bit of personality.

Me three re: Duet!!
I had no idea about photographers until I got on here and heard about Duet .. and really, once I got to meet Eric & Nicole and see the product, the work speaks for itself (as well as the awesome deal!
)Its also how Soon2bMsZ and I originally 'bonded' (while comparing notes about Duet..) so I'm grateful for that also!! She's been a doll to me!!
Truthfully I knew nothing about wedding planning before I came on this board, so each one of you have probably influenced me so many different ways. I truly couldn't thank all of you enough! Its like I'd have to give an Academy Award winning speach to thank all of you for your invaluable suggstions, support and advice
