I really want to get him something special that signifies our last Christmas as an unmarried couple. It could be something funny, cute, sentimental, whatever! Something personal like a frame or ornament signifying this. I have noticed a lot of cute things for first Christmas together, as a married couple etc.... Not much for the engaged couples!! Are we a forgotten breed? I know I can get something monogrammed, so really no big deal but I was wondering if any other engaged couples are thinking the same as me!!

Yes I had this very thought in American Greetings yesterday. It's all Our First Christmas Together ornaments! I wanted also to get something for my mom of this nature. Like last CHristmas at home kind of thing... I ended up buying something for me :) A little mouse ornament dressed as a bride that reads: 'Bride To Be, 2003' And a little mother/daughter ornament.

My mom got me the little mouse ornament too. It's adorable. I'm pretty sure it was a Hallmark one. There was another one I got that says 'First Christmas Together' which I also think was Hallmark. It was great--a silver serving tray with an ice bucket, champagne bottle, glasses, roses and chocolate dipped strawberry's on it with a towel hanging out of the bucket that says '2003.' I think that's OK cause it doesn't specify how you're together that Christmas, ie: married, in a new home, etc..
