Strange Question, but are you worried about antiperspirant?

This may seem like an odd problem, but first of all I don't want to sweat alot. Secondly if I ever got really nervous and had an odor issue I'd be so mortified. Also, do you notice that some of the so-called clear deodorants really aren't that clear. I have a dress that will show my arms, so I don't want any white clumps on my arms or dress.

Is there a really good clear one out there that serves as both a deodorant and antiperspirant?

Thanks in advance ladies!

yes. My trusty Dove has been clumping lately. I have a few months to try to find a new one!

Re: Strange Question, but are you worried about antiperspirant?

I presently use Arm & Hammer but have also used Secret Ultimate? before. Both are good as far as odor control but aren't really invisible even though they say they are.

My plan of attack is to put the deoderant on before the dress, let it wear in a little, and use a tissue to blot off any clumps or excess. I need to make sure the dress is then put on me very carefully!

CVS and stores like that carry trial size deoderants and I plan to bring one in my emergency kit for any touchups if needed.

i think a lot worry - one girl was actually comparing a bunch of different brands and rating them the last couple weeks - might be good to search

I don't remember her name (sorry!) but she did a fantastic job of comparing different brands based on dryness, white spots, even a dreaded sniff test!

If I recall I think Secret Platinum was the winner. It beat out Dove and one other brand.

Thanks, I think Dove and Ban have been the ones not working that well for me.

Re: Strange Question, but are you worried about antiperspirant?

FallBride2004 did a series of tests on various Brands. I wound up buying the Secret Invisible platinum and Love it. It hasn't failed me at all! If you do a search on her posts I'm sure you'll find it.

Awesome! I never saw her post with the final result! That's what I use. I was one of the people that recommended that. It's really good. I'm a chef and it gets really hot in that kitchen and it really gets put to the test. It hasn't failed me yet though.

Re: Strange Question, but are you worried about antiperspirant?

I'm a little delayed in seeing this post but the BEST EVER deoderant/antiperspirant is KHEILS. honestly - you do not sweat or smell AT ALL and its completely invisible. Its a little more expensive than what we all usually buy but totally worth it for the big day. Def worth the investment!!

Re: Strange Question, but are you worried about antiperspirant?

Nope and I'm going to admit it to everyone right now!

I LOVE MEN'S DEODORANT. IT KEEPS ME DRY AND FOR SOME STRANGE REASON I LOVE THE WAY IT SMELLS.

PS I don't think of myself as masculine.

Re: Strange Question, but are you worried about antiperspirant?

I just started Certain Dri tonight...my pits are burnin'!!! (it's not that bad actually)
I usually use Dove, which seems to be ok, but I wanted to try something stronger for the big day.

What was the reaction??? I just tried it last night for the first time! Honestly, this stuff seems SO strong, I might just stick with something regular, not worth the risk. I don't normally have a sweating problem, but just trying to be prepared.
