I just noticed on 2 loaves of bread I have that the serving size is only one slice
Ok, people make toast or whatever, but I'm assuming the majority of sliced bread is used for sandwiches...
Makes no sense!!

Re: strange serving sizes (food)
Kinda of like the packages of Resse's Peanut Butter Cups that contains two servings!!! Because I know I'm full after only one of those babies!!!

Re: strange serving sizes (food)
With stuff like that I always ask myself what their motivation is. With the Reeses's obviously it looks better to the consumer if they see 100 calories and 6 grams of fat (just guessing) rather than 200 calories and 12 grams of fat. Alot of people might put it back if they see the higher fat & calories. Meanwhile, we all know we are going to eat both, even the person who swears they're only eating one.
With the bread...hmmnnn...Atkins related maybe. Everything now is Atkins friendly this, Atkins friendly that so maybe it's another trick of marketing. Some people dont analyze labels so they think it's for 2 slices?
I think they do that alot with 'diet food', the calories sound so low and then you notice that the portion size is different than the non-dietetic comparable. So, yes it's lower in calories but not as much as you originally think.
