Stressed!!!

Stressed!!!

Literally JUST started talking about wedding plans and already I'm freaking out! HELP!!!
I need calming techniques! LOL

I got engaged in June and waited to plab because my FH wanted to and now it seems like 2012 is all booked up for a Saturday Night.

I need to de-stress!

relax, theres nothing to stress about.

things book up fast but there are so many vendors out there you will find everything you want.

If you want a certain vendor that is booked already, than you may have to consider changing your date.

You also have to keep in mind if you want new years eve, most places have new years eve events so maybe thats why they are booked already.

My date isn't set... you have to put a date on here to join. I'm looking for November 2012, but it could end up being sometime in 2013

No worries, I think that you still have plenty of time to plan your wedding. I would suggest for you to do your research. Is it the RH that's booked up already? Good luck with everything

Don't stress - I got engaged Dec '10 and got married Oct '11. You have time to get everything done

What about a Friday night wedding or am earlier Saturday wedding? I'm sure there are dates still available. Call around.

It's very overwhelming but try not to stress out. The reason I got stressed is b/c I'm the type of person that wants to get things done ASAP. I need to learn to take a chill pill sometimes LOL

I only want Saturday Night andI really want to be the only Bride/Party. So I know I'm limiting myself.
I'm like that too. Once I have the place and date I'll do the rest and be done... sit and wait. Just hope I don't go crazy before getting there LOL

we originally wanted Nov. 2012 but the hall we liked was booked so we went with March 2013. it's not so bad. I've already booked all the main vendors since most of them have a lot of openings for 2013

You may have just calmed me down!
I really dind't want to wait till 2013, especially since I would wait till March/April. It seems sooo far awy, but you're right. If I have a problem with the Hall will I have the same issue with Vendors, maybe!

A year seems like a lot of time But when it comes to weddings some ppl tend to plan really far ahead (like me lol). I know some of the 2013 ladies havent been able to get their 1st choice on some things bcuz things are booked already. Im not trying to freak u out lol but just be prepared that u may not get your 1st choice on some things and you may have to be a lil more flexible.

If you push the wedding back to March/April of 2013 its really not as far away as you think.. 2012 is just days away. I have been engaged for 6 months and am having a 28 month engagement and its flying already! Lol Good luck on your decision.

We are going to look at a place on Saturday who has availability for Labor Day weekend. I'd love my wedding there so if that works I'll be thrilled and deal with everything else.

If not then I will wait it out and feel better having your support and the other girls on here!

One piece of helpful/calming advice a bride gave me on here is that there are plenty of wonderful vendors to choose from. Pick your top three and if you have a vendor in mind that you absolutely have to have reach out to them first! Good luck :)

try a friday night or sunday. Most likely they will be available and probably a lot cheaper too!

Thanks. Tonight was another stressful night. I want to enjoy it. I really need to remember to step back... and relax a little LOL

u'll feel like this as the wedding approaches but luckily still have more than 1 yr to plan for everything and u'll have a lot of chances if ur wedding date is in december

I don't have my date yet. It could be Labor Day weekend or later. The stressful part is picking the date and place. Its hard when you aren't the only opinion that matters LOL
