Stressing About Duet...

This scares me a bit... I'm also having Woo's team.... I didn't take my e pics but I guess I really should before July to see his style and see if there is anything I want to change.

i too had woo's team as well

i loved my e-pics;...you can view them in my albu slideshow

however i wanted more creativity

my friend who got married had Jay's team and i saw her proofs and loved it

plus i got to work with him the whole 10 hours for the wedding

and called duet to see if he was still available on my day

i wanted more photojournalistic and i felt that he lacked creativity

i didn't mean to scare you at all but i felt also the past few brides that had Woo were not happy with the pics...so i made a decision to change teams

I'm not sure what the negative reviews said, but if they were opinionated comments, I would not go by that.

If they didn't like the 'style,' then I wouldn't get too upset....that is very relative and personal. I was THIRLLED with my own photos, and a lot of people I know were totally unimpressed.

People have very different tastes. I see a lot of opinions on here that the majority love with regard to photography, and I find it really cheesey. (I'll steer clear from examples)

Phtoography is very personal.......

If, on the other hand, the reviews said that he didn't show up, or was late, or did something that offended someone,,,,,that is another story.

I think you need to go with your gut,,,,,and also by your Epics. If you are happy with those....go for it. If not, switch teams.

I'm using Alberto, who isn't one of the more reviewed or popular duet photographer's. Some of our epics are in my album. I had a few complaints with my epics, but now I know what to talk about before the wedding- ie, too many kissing pictures, i hate the way i look in profile ( i have a giant nose).

I think everyone has different opinions. People on this website post make 20 or 30 proofs- of the 600 or so they recieve. Those are the best of the best and you can;t expect every pic to be that perfect. See your epics and then go with you gut.

You really can't base everything on the opinions you read here...this place can make ya crazy! It does it to me too!

It's about how YOU feel....don't let the reviews/opinions on this board make you nuts! Just wait on those epics and see how you feel. We all have different opinions/preferences of style.

Why not go through all of Woo's pics on here, and be objective and give your own opinion of his work? Just ignore their opinions and listen to your gut feeling about his work... It can be hard to be objective when you're hearing from the people who used them....
