I'd be shocked if I was at a bridal shower and there were strippers. I think of a shower as a really low-key kinda thing so it would be weird plus all my older female relatives would be scandalized!

But at a bachelorette party, that's different! Then I'd say yes.

you know what's hilarious? my MOM asked my MOH/sister if they could get a stripper for me for my shower!

my sister told her she didn't think it would've been appropriate. i found out later that both my mom and my aunt wanted to have a 'police oficer' stripper come for the party since i'm marrying a cop!

i don't think i would've minded, but i suppose it depends on the crowd. i'm sure the rest of the ppl at my shower would've laughed their azzes off

ditto....for one thing older people are there and i think it is disrespectful for them....and honestly i dont like them for a bachelorette party i DEFINITELY WOULDNT WANT IT FOR A SHOWER!

No, I would save it for a bachlorette party. I'm not really into the stripper thing though. I've been to one and some of the older gals were uncomfortable. I've seen the woman running away from Mr. G string.

If you want it go to hunkamania or something with your gal pals.

I agree with this. I personally don't like strippers. I see penis and *** all day. (I work in the medical field by the way

Nope. not for a shower. I wouldnt even want one at my BP...but it would be accepetable at a BP not a shower. IMO

a friend of mine told me and showed me pictures of her cousins bridal shower with strippers. I thought it was very tasteless. I'm personally not a fan of strippers. It makes me uncomfortable. I just think that having strippers at a bridal shower that's supossed to be tasteful with your moms and aunts and all the girls.

It's also a place for the younger guests to go since they can't attend the b-party. IMO, just not appropriate.

I agree. I think it is very tasteless to have strippers at a shower and would be very upset if that happened to me. I think I would actually leave a person's shower early if a stripper showed up.

i selected other because if it is a bridal shower with you and friends - who cares..... it'll be fun but if it is a formal shower with Aunts and Grandma's and mothers... etc, you may want to skip on the strippers.
