Stupid invitation question

Because I'm really tired and when I'm tired, i can't help myself...just wanted to ask.

Why do you number the invitations?

Well, the response cards....so in case you can't read somebody's handwriting you know who it was that returned the card

some people do not know that they have to write their names on the rsvp card so you should number the cards and keep a list with the # and the name of person assigned to that #.

so people know how important or un-important they are to you!

hey i have to say it has helped me so much - i am glad that i did it!

FH's family has a lot of seniors and juniors and even thirds! so even though i could read the name i wasnt sure which person it was ( the grandfather, uncle or cousin -lol) so i matched up the number and TA DA! I knew who it was

I have used the numbers twice already and I have only been getting RSVPs for two days!
