stupid short fiance

I found wedding shoes that i love but the heel is over 3 inches and if i wear them i will be taller than him..im sooo sad-im gonna try to find shoes as close to them as possible with a lower heel-im trying to get something in the 2 1/2 inch range

You might be able to take it to a shoe repair store and have them fixed to the height you want!!

and I TOTALLY feel your pain! I am 5 foot 7 and FH is 5 foot 8 so its like flats from here on in!!

if i bring them to a place-is it noticeable if they cut the heel down? id hate to spend $70 on a pair of shoes and them have them look bad

I would test it out with a cheap pair of shoes first, to see what kind of work the shoe guy does.

Ive seen how it looks before and you cant even tell but it def depends on the craftsmanship of the shoe repair man.

FH is an inch short than me i think i might have to go barefoot, or stand in a hole, or make him wear heels

one of my bridesmaids always used to joke that i would have to get married in the beach & we would dig a path to the altar for me so I would be shorter I have the saaaame problem...lolll

I'm in the same boat as you. I am actually a little taller than my FH in bare feet. I'm 5'9, he's5'7. I LOVE heels but for the wedding it would look so funny with me being 6ft tall in heels and him being 5'7. I found a great pair of low heeled shoes on this website:

I thought I was safe because I'm just near 5'1' and my FH is 5'8', but if you add my 3 1/2 inch heels and my headpiece . . . . OH NO!!! Have to watch it on the hair height, because my dress is being made for that height heel!!!

FH is only an inch and a half taller than me but I don't really care. I am gonna get heels and if I am taller than he is, so what? Lol!

I am 5'6 and FH is 5'4

I am wearing 3.5 inch heels, yea i will be taller but i always wear 4 or 5 inch heels, and he is very used to it.

I am going to look into those inserts someone mentioned that will give him an extra 2 inches of height.
that will really help!

When you rent his tux if you rent his shoes. They may have insert that will give you FH an extra 2inches in height. I just found this out last weekend. I am getting for FH because we are the same height. With heels I will look like the Jolly Green Giant.

WHAT?!?!?!?! THIS IS GREAT NEWS!!!!!! I am laughing my azz off about this post because my fiance is like the same height as me and I have been stressing about the whole height dilema when it comes to my wedding. This is wonderful!! How bad am I? I have been researching 'lifts', but I didnt want to hurt his feelings..
