Stupid work vent

As you girls know, I'm leaving my job at the end of the month. So FH asks me to take a day off next week to get the food tasting, cake tasting and our wedding bands done in one day and he will take the same day off.

None of these vendors are available on the weekend and our hall cannot do food tastings on the weekends because of other weddings.

So, my employers refuse to give me any days off until I leave because 'I need to wrap up- all my files.'

So i guess I'm going to have to put everything off until may? Or should I just pretend and call in sick one day and get these things done?

BTW, I get called multiple times from the office whenever I've taken a sick day.

So frustrated right now

Do you still have sick time???

I mean, I know this sounds terrible BUT if you are leaving at the end of the month who cares?
I understand it's really not the RIGHT thing to do, but they are really giving you no other choice.
