Today I went for my possibly fifth make-up trial. It came out okay but I wasn't completely happy - it was only okay. Then we went to the florist for a sample centerpiece and it wasn't what I wanted. Partially my fault for not giving them colors more specifically but whatever. Then my mom and I went to about 5 different stores looking for flowergirl dresses that are black and white and could not find ONE that I liked. At least we went to Crest Hollow to look at our party room and it was done for a party and looked nice. But I am so upset- I cannot find a make-up artist, flowergirl dresses or a centerpiece I like! I feel so disappointed today!!

It'll get better. Don't worry. As for the makeup, I had the same problem, and I'm doing my own. I have sensitive skin and don't usually wear a lot of makeup, and when others did it I felt like a clown.

Wow..you did have a bad day! Sorry to hear that!! Have you tried makeup counters? I have been to just about everyone throughout my lifetime and have gotten some good ones. If you wnat a natural approach, bobbi brown has a very natural look..lancome does as well, unless you request more makeup. Why not do it yourself. You could always go in to these counters and get a makeover, theyre free..that way you can try out some new colors and if you have new colors, you might feel alittle better on your wedding day. Gte the colors now, such as an eye shadow, etc., and dont wear them until your big day. When JN did my trial, she used a pinkinsh lipstick..I have red hair and WHITE skin..I never ever thought to wear pink..but I LOVED it and am not going to wear it again until my wedding day because I dont want to get sick of it. I want to still looklike me on my day, but with some enhancements!! Sally hansen does make an airbrush makeup. I bought it and like it. Some of the girls on here bought it and liked it too. You could try that. I hope iM helping here..I feel bad for you that you had such a discouraging day. I hope you have a better one!!!

Don't worry about the makeup, like Alicia said, go to some makeup counters. I was like you and then someone on here mentioned Clinique, I went and loved what they did, so I am slowly buying the makeup that I need. As far as the Flowergirl dress, look online or on ebay, there's some pretty nice stuff out there, you will find something. And lastly the florist will do what they have to do to make you happy, be a little more specific and they will work with you. Cheer up, it's not that bad!

Awe! Your day will beautiful anyway, these are minor setbacks. Try Bridesave.com. They are very reasonable and they don't take too long to come in. My sister bought her FG gown off eBay. FM DAWNIE if you want to know the sellers name.

My fg's mom found her the cutest dress in a dept. store on sale for $17! Hit the mall and check out all the children's stores and dept stores, not just the bridal shops. You can find a nice selection and good prices.

Thanks so much girls! I would do my own make-up but it would look ridiculous- I am not good at that stuff! I am going to try some more people in the city this week and see what happens. I think I am being too picky with everything and I don't know why! I never thought I'd be like this!
I am going to go look for more flowergirl dresses in the city this week too. I can find SOMETHING but I feel bad making my aunt buy these dresses for her daughter that are like $250! I mean, that;s so much money!
Meredith- I'm in the Plaza room- thank goodness that looked all pretty!
