Suffolk Catering halls

I am writing this for my friend. She loves loves loves Flowerfields, but her and FH are going to be paying for the wedding themselves and she doesn't know if she can afford it. Does anyone have any good suggestions of places out east that would be similar, but less expensive? Any recommendations would be helpful.

Its not like Flowerfields, i dont think, but Chateau La Mer is really nice and affordable. They had amazing prices for off season dates and day weddings. I even got quoted prices as low as $55 for a winter day wedding. Their food is great and its on the water, so it has a nice setting.

I think the vinyard caters was less expensive and pretty...set in long island's vineyards.

East Wind for sure, depending on size. I would definitely recommend my hall, Danfords. We are getting an incredible deal (even their summer prices are good) and they just renovated the ballroom (new carpet, dance floor, and drapes). Plus they have their hotel right there.

The Watermill is in Suffolk (Smithtown). I will be having my reception there and I absolutely love it. We are having a day wedding at a pretty reasonable price, especially considering all they have to offer. I'm sure your friend can get an even better price during the off-peak season. FM me if you would like more details.

What about Lombardi's on the Sound? Great food, on the water, reasonable prices.

I had my wedding at the Watermill and it was beautiful and I loved the way everything was done. Albeit, I had a few gripes, but I would still recommend them!

I got married at Flowerfield! Normally ot would've been way too expensive for us BUT we were flexible and got married on Wednesday, July 4th!! We saved SOOOO much money!! Maybe she can do something like that, or possible get married off season!! I was def willing to get married in Dec /Jan just to have it at FF (and I def wanted a summer wedding)!

there are SO many! i know magestic gardens is beautiful & a nice price...they also have gardens in the back and a glass encased room for the cocktail hour - sorta along the same lines i guess. i'd tell her to pick up the Locations Sites & Services magazine..its filled with every venue on long island with pictures, what they offer, and a pricerange for each. It's VERY helpful!

Hamlet Willow Creek! I've noticed not a lot of brides on here are HWC brides, but its fairly new I think this is their 3rd or 4th year doing weddings. It's so beautiful! Watermill is really nice too, we were actually ready to book it, but then we went to Hamlet and I loved it!
