Suffolk county RH cancelation policies?

Hi girls, one of my BMs canceled her 9.16.07 wedding at East Wind [South Hampton room].

I heard somewhere that Suffolk county has a law against holding any money over $100 for canceled weddings... Is this true? Anyone know?

TIA!!!

Just so you know - your hall is in suffolk> county, and you have more than 6 months notice - YOU ARE ENTITLED TO YOUR DEPOSIT BACK!!!! There is a Suffolk> County law.

>Send a certified, return-receipt letter to your hall OFFICIALLY cancelling your date, and include the Suffolk> law that says you are entitled to your deposit back. Include a line like: Please mail my refund check to [name, address, etc]. > They have to give it back to you!!!
