SUGAR GLIDERS!!!!! Alive and absolutely adorable!!

have any of you been by Broadway mall lately?!! they have these things now called Sugar Bears, they are from Australia and were bred and brought here. Its like a combination of a kowala bear and kangaroo! but as soft as a chinchilla with the look of a chipmunk, and a really long tail!! ooo and it has opposable thumbs and is absolutely tiny!! they sleep in ur pocket and you can take them anywhere!!! im obsessed,but FH thinks they are too good to possibly be true. It is said they live to 15 years...but he doesnt believe it. Anyway, i am obsessed and wanted to share the info!!!!!

OMG...Tonigh my FSIL and her boyfriend were talking about this. I couldnt understand if it was more like a hampster (they gross me out) or like a pet chipmunk!!! They were saying that supposedly they get really attatched to humans and can be trained almost like dogs.

they can actually be trained better than dogs. U train it to know when to use the bathroom, (like every time they come out of ur pocket after a nap) an like the guy called it by its name and was like go to bed in your cage, and it jumped and glided to its cage!! its crazy, i totally want one hahaha

we were quoted $489. It only will cost u $34 a year to feed them he said. i know i want one too!!! FH said he wants to research them more and find out how they will do with my cats...then we will see! omg!! if u get one, i so want u to post pictures!!

lol i wish!! but becuz they are very low maintenance, they find they can charge that much. who knows . But they are on back order for like 60 people right now! we asked when we could get one and were told a few months.

I've wanted one for QUITE some time (talking YEARS)....
Never heard that they were mixed though...

A friend of mine has one. They are very sensitive and they need ALOT of attention. They are very soft tempered, but are like a newborn child and want to cling to you constantly. This is what kept us from purchasing one...we don't have the time right now

i told fh im guna get him 1 , since he always needs a lot of attention .. i tol dhim a sugar glider i perfect for him,,, they can keep eachother company lolol
