Does anyone have any sugestions on things that can be done this far in advance?
I'm in the process of looking at RHs, and i will not be getting married in a church so no need to look there. I basically already know who i am having for my photo, dj and florist....so those are pretty big 'almost' checks. I feel that it is WAY to soon to start making DIY stuff, even if the wedding is gonna be 300-400 people.
I wanna get my hands dirty, i just dont know what to do

I'm thinking the RH. I can't imagine who else would have their 2013 books out.

i agree, probably just RH for now.
but as soon as january comes along, start booking other things. i tried to book RH for 11/11/11 in January 2010 and it was already booked!!!

And depending on who you want for photo/video, I'd try booking that by beginning of 2011...you'd be surprised how some of them book their dates so quickly.

Thanks everyone! I think i wil focus on my e-party/dinner for now.
I really wanted to go to this showcase last night at the RH i really want....but of course, i have the flu....i hate my luck!

well you could make a cake topper or letters for your cake table...

So i decided on a valentines day e-party/dinner. Soooooo i'm gonna do a ton of DIY stuff for that. I think a 50 person event will be a lot eaiser than a 300-400. I'm not gonna go super crazy (no program or menu), but i do wanna do place cards...a SMALL centerpiece (the restaurant supplies balloons) and favors.
Can anyone think of anything else cute? Probably do one signature drunk since there is a bar right there....Maybe a Mahoney-tini (his last name is mahoney).
