Suggestions for RH w/ simple decor theme?

Hi eveyone. I've browsed this site a million times but this is my first post. I'm having a problem finding a RH that suits our taste. Everywhere I look (that we can afford) however beautiful, is just too overdone for me. I like simple, classic yet modern. I LOVE the Old Field Club & Land's End, but can't afford either. Guest list is 125-150 depending on RH, and I really can't afford more than around $110pp incl. tax/grat . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the super fast Douglaston reco! I just looked and I LOVE it, but forgot to mention that I'm pretty far out in Suffolk, so it's too far. Exactly what I'm looking for, though!

millerage inn! very simple decor, all hardwood floors, one wedding at a time and affordable. Only problem I had with it is it was a little TOO plain for me, because there was no defined dance floor. You can put the tables however you want, theres a lot of freedom but TOO much freedom for me!!! It is definatley worth checking out!

this is a picture of what it looks like- this pic is of where they would do the cocktail hour- or they could do a small reception in that room as well.

just wanted to give you an idea so if you dont like it, you dont waste your time!! I know finding a RH is stressful!!

If you're far out in suffolk you should try sunset harbor in patchogue or pinehollow in medford. Both are $55-$60/pp.

Thanks so much for the link! I actually really DO like the looks of Milleridge, and love the simplicity of that room! However it's really far from me...I'm out in eastern Suffolk. Thanks for the suggestion, though, and feel free to keep the ideas comin'!

Try the Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip, the large room they use for big parties, if I remember correctly is hard wood and a light color.. it seemed pleasing where it looked nice but you could really dress it up any way you envisioned it.

Crestwood Manor was really nice - we liked the porcelain dance floor, but they definitely quoted us about 130$pp for a May/June event.

I also LOVED old field club but couldn't afford it, I am getting married at Captain Bill's. I also have 125 and while the name is dreadful, it is very simple and elegant and reminds me a lot of Lands End and Old Field Club, simple and great food.

I'm having it at the Three Village Inn. Prices were less than Old Field and they've fixed it up a lot since being owned by Lessings. The chef of the Mirabelle restaurant also does the catering menu. FM if you want more details.

Sunset Harbour is where we are having our rehearsal dinner, it's in East Patchogue, and I know the wedding prices are very reasonable.

Timber Point Country Club is simple and beautiful, and feels elegant.

East Wind is more affordable than Land's End, I think, and is beautiful.
