How about West Lake Inn in Patchogue? Its the same owners as Lands End and Flowerfield, so the food is the same, its just a lot cheaper. FH LOVED it there, but it just wasn't what I was looking for. I wanted the huge chandeliers and wooden/tile/marble dance floor.

also, what about the coral house? is that too far for you?
or the metropolitan in Glen Cove? (yea, that's prob WAY too far for you)

how far are you willing to travel?

ETA: or stonebridge in smithtown????

Maybe Lombardis on the sound. Not sure of pricing though.

I would try eastwind (wading river). You might be able to get that price. The room I picked there is decorated in white.

how about Bayview House at Capt Bills. Its in Bayshore. Look through my albums, or my review, it has that similar understated feeling, yet elegant. Our wedding there was wonderful. FM with any ?'s.

You could try Timberpoint Country Club. Its fairly simple but beautiful. Lessings do a great job too.

I'll be the 3rd to suggest Captain Bill's. The reception room is beautiful yet simple. There is a deck off the back of the room is tented. I think so have the CH out there, ours would have been in the party room of the restaurant (we over 200 people). We had a hard time deciding between here(which we could afford) and Land's End( which is a struggle financially). Please FM me if you want to hear more.
