Summer Brides...

where are you with planning? Invitations? BM dresses? accessories?

I'm in the invitation process it's taking a while (using her). Bridesmaids dresses are chosen and 5 out of 6 girls have been measured and paid for, I'm waiting for 1 who is supposed to go Friday. My jewelry is ordered, shoes and bridesmaids jewelry have not been done yet. I need to book rehearsal dinner and my hair person this weekend.

1. Bridesmaid dresses are chosen and ordered...
2. Invita tions are going back and forth with proofs...
3.initial consult with the headpiece designer has been done...
4.not buying little things for a few more months...
5. Need a RD place and need to book it...
6. Need bridal party gifts..
7. Need a makeup artist
8. Have bra
9. Have shoes
10. Need DOJ

hmmm...what else

I still have to do invitations, florist (since mine canceled!), my veil, my DOJ, BM/GM gifts, my shoes.....

Proofed my invitations and sent back already. Picked out BMs dress but waiting for all my girls measurements so that I can order by mid-December. Next up is fg dresses and bm gifts.

Question... girls that are getting married at a church , do you check with your church first for rehearsal date or just book the RD?

I still don't have all of my major vendors.

I have: church, RH, dress (not a vendor, but w/e), photographer, DOC, and limos.

Still need: DJ (currently working on this), videographer (ditto), and florist (haven't even started), hair and makeup (ditto).

I have some of my smaller details.. card box, earrings, part of BM gifts.

I'm an August bride, btw.

I am waiting for my girls to order their dresses in January, I just ordered BM DOJ gifts, Got my shoes, doing my card box this weekend, finishing my CP's this weekend too. Looking for GM gifts tonight (black Friday). I booked my location for first look. I need to start looking for invitations next. it's a never ending list!!!!!

check with church first. mine has rules on when they do rehearsals so im booking them first.

Hey ladies-
Don't mean to make nervous at all in fact, I didn't even list all the things that can't be done till all r.s.v.p's are in like:
-programs
-place cards
-menus
-favors (I need chinese take out containers and it is a difference of being able to buy a certain quantity and having enough or way to many)
-OOT bags (we can't till we have a count of people staying at the hotel)
-table numbers (we are doing them with pics of us in different places we visited and loved but can't till I have a count)

and the other things I forgot to mention:
-our wedding bands
-his tux
-our honeymoon (which my fh says we can wait a few more months for)
-the wedding licence
-kettubah
-pre cana

seriously the list is never ending!!! help!!!

Picked the bm dresses already 3 ordered so just waiting forthe last girl to order, i picked out my invitations last week i am getting them hand made through a wedding consultant. Accessories not yet. I was thinking of going of going to bridal styles, kleinfels when they have a blow out sale and rk bridal had beautiful jewelry as well. Bm gifts -i already have an idea of things i wanna get just dont know whete to get nice jewelry that isnt pricey. Any suggestions?

I sent out save the dates early. I sent them with the people at my engagement party as part of their favor. I send them out now as people tell me they want them to be invited.....I love the summer 2012 bride thread btw!
