Are you using airbrush or traditional make-up? Sometimes I feel like the airbrush can make my face look shiny, but I definitely need all day coverage!

Re: summer brides
I am using regular make-up, I don't like the shiny effect.

Re: summer brides
I am the opposite, I am using airbrush because the reg makeup makes me look shiny all day.
I went for a trial and my makeup lasted literally all day and night and no shine

Re: summer brides
airbrush makeup. I went for my trial last year on a fairly humid day. my hair went nuts. I did get shiny but will use mattifying powder by mac throughout the day to get rid of shine.
The airbrush makeup did not come off. I even slept in it that night to test it out.
regular makeup (liquid) tends to come off on me and I cant find a good foundation match either and i've bought and tried everything.
At the moment my skin is pretty good though.
If I do wear makeup normally, its mineral foundation (not bare escentials - I react badly to it) and I put it on lightly. Mineral stuff is really good too if you want 'normal' makeup that looks natural. (I still get Tzone shine from this as well) I just dont want to use it on the day because I dont want to do my makeup myself (especially eye makeup as I'm really bad at that) and I've always wanted to try airbrush.
EVERYONE's skin is different though so maybe get a trial of each?

Re: summer brides
I am doing airbrush. I have acne scars, so I need heavier coverage.

Re: summer brides
I used traditional make-up. I got married in May but it was 80 degrees that day. It lasted aalllllll night. It even still looked good the next morning. Thank you, Sandra Baldini!

Thank you for all of the opinions! I love how everyone's airbrush pics look, but when I tried it I felt like it settled into every line in my face and didn't stay smooth...if that makes any sense!
