For those of you having a summer day wedding, are you guys doing tuxes or thinking of doing a nice suit? While shopping, FH found a really nice tan/light brown suit. It looks really nice and wouldn't mind going a little more casual since it's a day wedding. But our color is cobalt blue and I wasn't sure how'd they'd look together. What does everyone think??

Definetly the suit! If you read up on or talk to anyone in the tux business the will tell you that tuxes are only suppose to be worn in the evening. this was a shocker to me, but i dont know anything about tuxes. who knew there were rules!

Definitely go for the suit over the tux if thats what you want!! Especially for a summer wedding I think that is very chic.
You may be right about going for a tan suit if the girls are wearing cobalt, though. What about a grey suit??
My BM dresses are cobalt and we are doing a charcoal grey tux! :)

Our wedding is in June. FH really wanted light grey skinny suits for him and the guys. The issue wound up to be that the groomsmen suits turned out to be WAY to much to ask the guys to spend. Even at H&M or Zara the suits ended up being $250... which we feel bad asking people to spend. So They decided to rent light grey tuxes which looks like it will end up being about $140.
Its very light weight. I like the idea of a suit too! The guys have to be comfortable. Mine wants something more formal and I was surprised it's lighter weight than the suits we were looking at!

Dont' know what happened to the one I selected but it's with the tie and vest in grey.
