I really want to get married on July 4th. Not only is it a holiday but its on a Sunday which we didn't want originally. I've been invited to weddings where people have weddings on holidays or Sundays and it can be annoying to be honest. You know people are doing it for the discount and as a bride I completely understand that but its still annoying to get up the next day and go to work... Or sometimes people leave early with their kids, etc and I want people to really enjoy themselves not be thinking what they need to get done the next day.
I don't want to annoy my guests but I really want july 4th because it was my grandparents anniversary and they were two of the most loving people i have ever met. If I could just be a little like my grandma and get an ounce of the love they felt for each other for my marriage... I think this would be a great tribute for them and really be special. Any thoughts would be great.......

I actually attended a wedding on July 4th and it was packed!!! no one complained and it was 2 and a half hours away!!! so I dont think you should worry.If people cannot attend because its an annoyance or they have wake up early the next day, then so be it. I am certain that 95 percent of the people coming to your wedding won't mind at all, imo
