Oh no, you can definitely have a minimoon!! Maybe like a nice extended weekend getaway. There are so many nice B&Bs upstate in wine country or in CT. I think you can definitely get a nice weekend getaway. Check out this website below that I look at form time to time. The good thing about B&Bs is the some will provide breakfast and usually afternoon tea so it may help save money on meals...We will definitely find you something romatic and affordable :) You deserve it!!!!

we are going on our honeymoon a few months after the wedding, but the weekend after our wedding we are gonna go to AC or Poconos or something just to celebrate.

There are so many other options you can do to make it happen! Honeymoon registry, wait a few months after then take one(my friend did this). She said it actually gave them something else to look forward to once the wedding was over. Or you can do a mini moon, maybe drive somewhere for a few days.
