I know how you feel too - I spent yesterday at my parent's house and helped with my 3 sisters to decorate the tree etc. We each have a box of ornaments that my parents saved for us and add to. And when my mom told me it was probably best to keep mine in the attic and start to put all my other Christmas stuff in a separate box (in preparation of my move) I started to cry b/c I realized I'm really moving! But I'm okay today!

i totally understand why youre upset - its hard to not have to go back to, but you have your parents and that is really your 'home'

i know i could imagine how they feel my mom cried when she signed the papers! its so hard but were going on to a better life with not so many bills!! its a great feeling!

I know exactly how you feel! I moved 3 years ago from the house I grew up in. I was so sad and so were my parents, but we're used to the new house now. It definitely takes time to get used to the new house though. Good luck!

And the house is beautiful!

I'm so sorry Megan - my bro is selling his house that he and my SIL and their kids lived in for 12 years. I watched them turn it into a beautiful HOME and now they're moving. It's not my house but it makes me so sad....
