Hmm, yeah, FH lives and breathes football. But after this Sunday he's MINE for the next 27-29 Sundays

I tell DH the same thing. I am the one that watches it religiously. We go to my aunt's super bowl party and DH will watch it with me.

DH asked me to make appointment at h&r block for sunday night, since it will be empty. He would look more foward to extreme home makeover

My FH is the same way!

I gotta say, the whole concept of the 'football widow' really squicks me.

Yup, my DH pretty much considers watching football a religion. So, needless to say, he is counting down the hours till Sunday. He actually gets a little depressed when football season is over.

Sounds like my hubby. He is like this w/ basketball too.

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

I voted that we watches for the commercials and out of spit...only because it was the closest to what is accurate..he watched the commercials but not out of spite. This year we are going to start watching it an hour and half later than it starts and with the power of Tivo..skip right throught he game itself.

OMG, I think I'd divorce him if it was baseball too. I tease him all the time and say I only have a husband in the summer(when baseball is on).

it gets crazy! i told him he only really needs to watch the last inning/quarter anyway but then he compared it to watching only the rose ceremony on the bachelor and i kind of undertsood why he watches the whole game
