I only found out a few days ago that nassau and suffolk have different laws..IM in the same predicament. cant get money till 09! darn

i would ask jordan for the money back because it was his wedding too, but that S.O.B. is poorer than dirt. (hence why his family stole a TV and an Air Conditioner from me lol)
omg that *****. can you sell the DP to someone even if it is half the price. At least you will get something back.

they wont do that... like they want my money, AND the money of the person who is booking on that date... i dunno how to explain it.
the way my mother said it was that even if someone else books on that date, they need a deposit from them... NOT counting the deposit that i already left....

Thats total BS!! I would be so mad. I would think if they could book it then you could get money back they have so much time!! I would call and just complain until I got what I wanted.
Did they offer you to maybe have a smaller party instead?

I'm going to try and leave as little as possible for my deposit....kind of makes me think about getting wedding insurance...you never know what can happen.
