Anyone else getting married here? Who's your BM? What room did you book? Using any of the preferred vendors?

We're getting married at the venue on 3/15/14, and have booked the Garden Room for our reception. We have 133 on the guest list. I haven't booked any of the preferred vendors yet (we have photo/video/DJ and invitations). Meeting with one of the limo companies and florists this Sunday.

Me! But you know that already since I've been posting on the other Swan Club thread. I haven't used any of their preferred vendors yet since the vendors I booked so far were recommended to me by other people. I was thinking about using Leonetti's for the cake but after seeing and tasting it at the showcase, I may just stick with the cake made by the Swan Club so I can save a few bucks.

I wasn't impressed with the cakes at the Bridal Showcase we went to last week. I haven't seen a good cake in any of the pics either. Leonetti's is nice, but at $8 a slice, we can't afford that. We're going with SweetKarma in Plainview for that.

I am planning to meet with Stephanie on Saturday to make final negotiations and book. If you don't use their cake, do they deduct anything from the cost???? I don't want to ask if I can get an answer from you ladies :)

I really don't know. I would assume it would either be substituted for something else, or they would deduct from the final cost. But she's pretty insistent on them baking the cake. I won't be talking to her before you, so I don't have an answer.
