I'm a little concerned just because I sweat really badly, but luckily it's December, so it shouldn't be that bad. And the dress isn't super heavy, but it is form fitting, so if I sweat too badly, you might see it start seeping

That is so funny I was thinking the same thing when I went for a full fitting this past weekend. I had layers and layers and layers of stuff on...lol

August with several layers, its a major concern. Luckily I don't sweat a lot.

Me too! I'm getting married in July and this is one of the things I'm worrying about. Think I'm gonna ask my seamstress to install a mini AC under my dress.

getting married in july, so yes. i'm hoping the crinoline will be light enough to keep the satin away from my skin.
i've actually been more worried about sweat stains in the bridal party since their dresses are less likely to hide that sort of thing

This was a major worry for me. When I went shopping the first time I told the girl ' i don't want any dresses with stuff underneath!'. I did try on one ball gown and it was torture. I was sweating before she even finished lacing up the back
I love fall and the colors but also picked i because both FH and I are always hot!! I'm not wearing a slip under my dress and it's not heavy at all so I'm hoping i should be okay but I have already warned my neices they are on deordant patrol that day!!

yup exactally why i chose to not pick a satin dress i'm going to try to have the least amount of 'stuff' on under my dress too. I hope it will keep the sweating down
Same! All the dresses I tried that were satin, i was sweating in the dressing room, i'm like there is just no way...

ugh me....middle of august and as gross as it may sound...i have a condition called hyperhydrosis where my pits sweat no matter what. But thats what botox is for.
I think I might have this too. It really ***** and started out of nowhere. I think i will get botox in my pits and my derm prescribed robinul, which decreases overall perspiration and she said she does not recommend taking it daily, but for special occasions. How satisfied are you with the botox injections?

Yes, I am to an extent. But since I'm in early April, I think that I will luck out by just stepping outside for a min if need be. Or, I can have my bridal suite set to be cooler then the RH. My dress really isn't that bad, so I'm trying not to think of getting all sweaty. LOL
I think you should be fine, I got married the middle of May and it was 75 degrees. I had a big and heavy dress on and i was fine. There was also a nice breeze that day and didnt sweat at all, not even when we were taking pics for 2 hours and the sun on me, which i was afraid of, not to mention i had my hair down and had extensions. The first pic location was also very windy since we were by the water so that helped a bit.
When I danced i did get a bit warm, but i would just stop for a little bit or slow it down for a few mins and i was fine. I didnt have any issues with getting too hot or sweating the day of.
Good to know... I was a bit nervous... but I think I should be ok... I hope. LOL

This is the EXACT reason I picked November to get married! I hate the heat and I don't want to be a sweaty bride! I want everyone, including myself to be comfortable. I was surprised by how heavy some dresses are when you carry them... but then a lot of them didn't feel that heavy when I put them on. I figure the poofier the dress the hotter it will be.
