Relax ladies, I got married in the beautiful July heat, wore a silk strapless dress, and I sweated some. But it didn't stain my dress!

Wear a clear deoderant, reappy if needed and you will be fine. TRUST ME!

BTW: Becareful with the botox shots. You don't want to try and stop your body from sweating, which it what this does because one, you need to sweat to keep yourself cool especially in the summer, you don't want to be passing out. And 2, if you stop the sweat from coming out from one place, you are going to start sweting heavily in others, like you face (MAKING FOR SOME NICE SHININESS), umm...down there , the back of your legs, feet.

Edited for spelling

THATS what im afraid of with the botox...i was warned also with the clear & dri deodorant about this happening and luckily i didnt swear anywhere else excessively but who knows if that will be the same with the botox...im gonna ask how long it lasts, if its a short period of time maybe ill test it out hmmmm not sure

im not worried about sweating so much on my dress, but I am worried about looking like an oily mess half way through the night. I have oily skin, and Im afraid my makeup will be running off my face at some point, LOL

Me too! I have oily skin and hope my makeup stays put!

Im doing airbrush for this reason, my face gets oily and hopefully with all running around my face will look matte and not oily . WOW I think Im going to pack ALOT of goodies for the day of. I going to go to the pharmacy and buy everything!!!!

Re: Sweating in your wedding dress???

I always sweat like a man as well. I bought a clinical strength Degree. And it is okay but when I get nervous I sweat under my arms, craziness.

So I am looking into the botex shots as we speak.

Re: Sweating in your wedding dress???

I was worried when I was getting married in July, but i'm getting married in December now, so I figure i'll be okay...i'm always cold anyway so I guess I don't have to worry about sweating too much...

but I heard Secret clinical strength is really good for that, i'm going to be using that just in case

Re: Sweating in your wedding dress???

i know it's after the fact, but you can also bring coffee filters to blot your face without ruining your makeup, and also to soak up sweat in other places

eh either way im screwed lol...deodorant actually is NOT good for you at all, it has so much aluminum in it and you're at risk for cancer because of it...this one book i have, the one that was on oprah about telling us the truth about the food we eat and things like that mentions this. I would do it this one time bc i used clear and dri for a while and it was great but after months of using it i had bad discoloration

yes, that is very true, all those chemicals we are putting right near our breasts...not sure if there is a link to that and breast cancer but it is scary.

I havnt used regular deodorant in years.
I use Toms of Maine, its all natural. I have also used a few other brands before i discovered Toms of Maine, and those were all natural with no aluminum or chemicals

after my mom read that book, about how your percentage of getting breast cancer goes up higher bc of deodorant she started using the natural deodorants but did give up eventually bc its those crystal rock things that you have to wet first and i guess she got annoyed with it lol
