I was looking through the Show Us Your Dress thread when I saw the most beautiful dress... (lulu's dress, on the first page). I LOVE IT!!!
I called around and am going to try it on tonight. I can order it from RK Bridal if I like it. (I hope you don't mind lulu!)
The problem is that I already have a dress! (Check out the same thread, page 11, Boop2704's dress - it's the same as mine!) I love it, but I think lulu's would look better on me. I guess I'll see tonight.
My wedding is August 1st. Do you think I'm crazy? And WHAT would I do with my first dress if I ordered a new one? Sell it on eBay? If I decide to get the new one and someone wants it, it's a size 6....
My mom just left on a business trip to California too, so I can't even show her until next week! Arrrggghhh!!!

I have to check again with RK Bridal but I think so. They are VERY quick with their turn around time.

I defintely will. I still love the dress I have so I won't be crushed if it doesn't work out. I just wasn't sure if I am crazy. Well, actually I know I am crazy, but was wondering if I am crazy to attemp to pull this stunt.

Well, I'd hang on to the dress I already have until I had the new one in my hand, so I'd definitely have something to wear. The one I have doesn't even need alterations, so that worked out well. I guess I'll just have to wait to see. I might not even like it once I get it on tonight.

OK, I just got back from Macy*s where I tried on the same dress lulu has. It is absolutely beautiful!!!! But it is SO SIMILAR to the dress I already have (and love) which is probably why I loved it when I saw the picture to begin with. So I will keep the one I have. LnP2003, thank you for your advice!

And you have a beautiful dress too! If I had tried them both on on the same day, I think I would have gone crazy!!! Also, when I tried it on at the store last night, it was ivory, not white, which is what I would want, and it was really really dirty, so the timing and situation just weren't right. I bet it was so dirty because it's so stunning and a lot of people have tried it on... :)
