Do you wanna shell out some cashola? If so, I highly recommend going to the Maidstone Arms or the Palm Restaurant in East hampton.

This time of year out there is SOOOOOOO romantic, and just has such a nice feel.
Its SO cozy!!! i wanna go just thinkign about it!

We love La Plage in Wading River or Over Pasta in Miller Place. Both are small so you need reservations, La Plage is dressier & more expensive.

For Italian I like Bella Vita in St James or Casa rustica in Smithtown. I like the Blue Honu...It's dark. For me Dark = Romance lol.

Thanks for all the suggestions ladies!!! We are so used to going to loud restaurants all the time so I want to do something different and do quiet, small and romantic...Please keep the ideas coming!

The Bridge in West Islip is nice. We also like il villagio (I think?) in Babylon village. Another nice restaurant is Siempre Vivolo in Hauppauge on Motor Parkway. That's really quiet and romantic.

I know u said Suffolk but if u want a REALLY romantic place there is little place in the village called One if by Land Two if by Sea. OMG it is breathtaking.
When I first went there... Fh was taking me for our 2 year aniv. and we walked by it 3 times.. it looked like a little garage form the outside. As soon as u walk in its like a differnt world. HIGH celings all hard wood candle lite only and live piano player. Just BEAUTIFUL!!!!
If u want to take the ride is is def worth the trip.

This might be closing. I drove by it yesterday, and it looked like they were changing the name and management.

The gatsby in Islip def. FH and I went there for a romantic dinner the night he proposed. You can sit on a couch together and eat or they have a little table set away from everyone in a little alcove that looks like a wine cellar. Very romantic!! The food is good, but pricey.

Good luck
