SWR: need hair advice
ok.. so i've been growing my hair for almost 2 yrs now so i can donate it to locks for love. They need 10 inches of hair i believe and it needs to be free of chemicals..etc. I still have every intention of donating..but here is my question...
For the wedding, eparty, etc.. i wold def. like to get my hair cut.. but not too short.. if i donate now.. my hair will be above my shoulders and i do not want short hair for my wedding and epics because i honestly just never looked great with it.. i'm willing to deal with my short hair for a good cause.. but i don't want to hate my wedding pics.. and my hair probably won't grow back that much by next year because it has obviously taken me this long to get it where it is now...soo..
Should i just get a regular cut and style for the eparty ( which is sept. 9th) and let it grow back in for the wedding.. then donate it after?????? I'm thinking at this point that's my best option.. but i feel terrible not donating now since i've been growing it for so long to do it!! I also wanted highlights for my wedding.. but i don't know how long i'd have to wait to donate if i add dye to it.. do i sound really selfish now :( ????
Part B of my long winded question..lol.. is .. i have no idea what kind of style to get.. i want to keep a lot of the length but i haven't gotten it done in so long that i'm lost.. any ideas girls? post some pics of long fabulous hairstyles pleaseee!!!
