LOL kim I showed him a picture of this dog and he asked if I was trying to lose a guy in 10 days (she bought him this dog in the movie when she was trying to get dumped). Needless to say, that was a no. But thank you for the list, very helpful

Really? I would test him because my dad is like deathly allergic to dogs and cats and he has never once had a problem with Barkley. He pets him, lays with him etc.

Thanks Melissa! But I just Googled 'Hypoallergenic dogs' and that's what I came up with. I'll take the compliment though ... Give Daisy-Maisy-Puttin'-Head a scratch for me.

hmmm I dont know? but no what I ment was bring the dog near him when he does not know to see if he is just lying so that you cant get one hehehehehehe. Men think they are slick but we woman are sliker!!!!

DEFINITELY get a coton de tulear! lily is 2 now and i love her to death! they def. are hypoallergenic, FH is allergic to a lot of dogs and hes had no problems....this is the perfect dog for me...outside she is nuts...jumps so high and is so playful...inside she can just chill for hours on my lap when im online lol or stay in her doggie bag when she goes shopping with me (right jesses girl?) and shes sooo good around kids and other dogs.....
any q's just ask...and heres some a ton of pics bc im such a proud mom haha

awwww...they look just like my pup who is a cockapoo...so adorable...by the way growing up we had a miniature schnauzer ...only dog my sister was not allergic to...he was wonderful and so smart...good luck...puppies are the best

aww dana, I can't believe I missed this, thanks so much for the info. My sister's friend just got this type of breed so we're going to go to her house and see if FH is allergic. If he's not our dogs should date (we're getting a boy).
PS- FH loved the picture of your puppy at shea stadium (even though he's a yankees fan)

yea bringin her to shea was great...they have dog day 2x a year its so cool to see all the doggies, and they get to walk on the field! so much funn!

That's what I was told too! I so feel your pain kristen To make it even worse FH promised me a puppy when I graduate (which is this May) and he TOOK IT BACK! I don't care what he says, in May I am coming home with my graduation present whether it is from him or not.

im allergic too.. but my sister bought a shih-tzu and i dont have any problems.. he doesnt shed.

i was gonna say i had a lhasa and they are great for people with allergies... he didn't shed!! ( i miss him ) they are like cousin breeds!! they are great dogs too!!!!!!
