SWR vent
my friend bought me a SpaFinder gift cert for my shower ... i called a few places to see about getting waxed and found one that charged $45 for full arms and upper lip ....
i went there, got waxed (LOVED the girl that was doing it), and then went to pay ...
the lady tells me it's $65 because they can't put SpaFinder gift certs along with the 'member pricing' of things (i'm not a member of that spa regardless but whatever) .... so i fight with her and she finally agrees to only charge me $45 ....
she takes my $50 gift card and doesn't return anything to me!!! um ... what happened to my last $5, bish!??!?! she gives me a lame-o excuse about not being able to give me any money back, and i can't use it towards the tip.
Fine, so FINALLY after much more fighting, the idiot finally agrees to give me a $5 gift cert to the spa .... i have no idea if i'll ever use it or not .... but it's about the principal!!!
anyway - Hand & Stone Massage in Jericho (right on 106/107, in the plaza where Whole Foods is) has an awesome waxer with awful cashiers / managers. i wouldn't go there again, and niether should you.
