SWR - What do you consider cheating

For me it would be having sex and also kissing someone else. Also constantly having an open dialogue with someone on regular daily basis and talking to them like two or more times per day.

So if I have a great friend who is only a friend and I speak to him more than 2 times a day-I am cheating??? Or would there have to be some 'feeling' behind it to be considered emotional cheating?

If it just a friend without feelings involved then no but if you are harboring feelings for the person and talking to them them more than twice for the day then in a sense it is emotional cheating which can be dangerous.

Kissing, any kind of touching past hugging... cuddling would make me pretty damn uncomfortable too, unless it was somebody I knew really well, and knew not to be a threat.

For me it is having sex, we are all human beings and at some point we are attracted to other people other than our FHs, but IMO as long as it does not go past the conversation aspect or go to deep like going out on dates or hanging out with that person or talking with that person more than you talk to FH.

having sex (of ANY kind) with someone that isn't ME

kissing girls that aren't ME

i don't mind him hanging out with other girls as long as it doesn't lead to anything that i've mentioned above or him starting to crush on the girl..not that that would happen because my FH is whipped..we watched the victoria secrets fashion show together and he was like..'these girls need a pork chop!'.. i love him!

Kissing another person and not telling the truth about it. I feel once you are with someone you promise yourself to that person. It's not good for someone else to touch that person

I also think the worse thing you can do to me is have a child outside of the marriage

Oh, I so agree with you on this one. I told my DH that is one thing I will never accept and if that should ever happen I will definitely divorce him.

You hit it on the dot. If you think I'm going to be mad, DON'T DO IT

Exactly!

My rule is that if you can't tell me about it, then you shouldn't be doing it.

'Can't tell me' includes things that would basically make me flip out if you did tell me.

That's the rule I'm going with for the Bachelor party as well - you need to be able to tell me about it without it upsetting me. If you can't do that, you shouldn't be doing it. He knows what that means, and his friends know what that means. I trust him to stick to that, and I know his friends will too. (although I don't think some of his friends realize exactly how much he's told me about his pre-me days....)

Re: SWR - What do you consider cheating

i think cheating is anything physical with a girl...like kissing, sex (of any kind)

emotional cheating is a gray area. i suppose it would depend on the situation. if my guy is hanging out with some girl that there seems to be a spark or something there, and he shares things emotionally with her that he doesn't with me....or seems to be sneaking e-mails & phone callls...i feel like that behavior can LEAD to cheating...and in a way it sort of is.

if my man has a crush or flirts...i don't see anything wrong with that. i mean he jokes all the time about how if i said he could hook up with any of my friends--he'd take a shot at my sister. (who is my MOH) i just laugh my a** off and joke with him about it. yes i know he's got the hots for my sis...but not in a gross pervy way...in a funny way. it doesn't mean he's gonna go shag her!
