is this bad that her nose is always dry? I thought it is supposed to be a sign of dehydration? She is drinking okay- Is there any reason to be concerned?

actually it IS supposed to be wet. it doesn't mean they have a cold at all.
youre right Bri, that it means dehydration. But she is such a puppy it shouldnt be too bad. if she is drinking fine i wouldnt worry about it too much. just make sure that she DOES drink! just moniter her and she will be ok!
sometimes when my dogs' noses get dry i worry, but you really shouldnt. as long as they ARE drinking enough its fine.
dont overreact

I noticed the other day that our pups nose was dry, so I started doing some research and they said although it can be a sign of dehydration that is not always the case. Sometimes it is simply the body chemistry of the dog.
I would watch and make sure she is drinking expecially after running around. And just monitor her behavior, if she acts differently or seems to not be as energetic or playful then maybe call the vet! But if she is otherwise fine I wouldnt worry too much!

Funny you should bring this up, cause my Charlie's nose has been dry on the sides (not the top, middle). I thought he too might have a cold, but he hasn't changed his habits at all and he's drinking an entire bowl a day (he's a 42lb terrier mix and it's a good size bowl). I haven't gotten too worried, but do take notice of it.

Thanks

Our dog is a terrier mix too! (not quite 42 lbs though !)
