im making my table numbers right now (ill post pics later) and i thought we had 17 tables but apparently we have 16, bc there is no table 13...is that normal? lol i just thought that was weird

Never heard of this! Jennandrolo made my numbers - i can have max 13 tables but i asked her to make 14 just in case, good thing I did that now huh?
Guess it's sorta like why there's never a 13th floor in hotels??

When the RH gave us the seating chart of the room, they did not have a table 13....I think its a bad luck thing

I must be s c r e w ed then, I am getting married on the 13th .yes the 13 is supposed to be bad luck , but so is breaking a mirror for 7 years , or a black cat walking in front of you , all Superstition and bs IMO

LOL its like how buildings dont ahve a number 13. Its funny cus i actually know a few people who have said that 13 is their lucky number. So Im surprised the hall wouldnt ask the bride about this first- Im sure you can make a 13 if u do your own table numbers and mark it on the form you give the hall. This way guests wont get confused...

Our hall doesnt have a table 13 either. They said it's the same reason hotels/buildings don't have 13th floors, etc. I guess it's considered bad luck or something LOL.

its an old country thing i think. i always heard about it growing up so i adopted the same superstition. lol
