We wont have a 13 or a 17 b/c 13 is considered unlucky in america and 17 is considered unlucky in italy. lol

I don't think I've ever heard that about '17'.
its an old country thing i think. i always heard about it growing up so i adopted the same superstition. lol
Hmm...I have to ask my mother and my FH if they know of this. My FH's mother was kind of superstitious, so he might have.

It is normal and customary to not have a table 13. Goes back to the superstition that 13 is an unlucky number. They usually go from 12 straight to 14 and up from there.

I am very curious now if my RH will have the number 13. My dad finds that number to be lucky b/c he likes to be the odd person and even came up with a way to make 13 lucky....
And I am a pretty superstitous person (got to love my theatre background) but I wouldn't really care either way if I have a table # 13 or not... I didn't even thinkk about it until just now.

We had a table 13. My birthday is the 13th so I always think of it as good luck. I think sometimes superstitions go too far.
