Re: Table camera advice
JennI am sorry to hear this - I think we all take a gamble with the cameras, anbd its a shame ot waste so much money, but even if you got 25 % return, you'll always have these pics.
We were thrilled with ours - Yes we did get some blurry ones, but the good ones more than made up for it.
Did you do a scavenger hunt? I highly recommend it

Re: Table camera advice
I'm happy with my table cameras. I bought reloaded ones and the quality isn't exceptional but it is good. I got all of my cameras back and all but one was totally used. I did a mini scavenger hunt and liked the variety of photos I got. I ended up with almost 400 pictures! DH took the cameras to a great photo shop in Syosset (24 min. photo). The guy who owns it/runs it works/teaches at FIT and he did a great job of bleaching the negatives to get better quality, at no extra charge.

Re: Table camera advice
sorry, but you might have a point with the lighting - although a lot of ours worked out well because people did close upsMaybe the guests weren't familiar with the 4 foot rule
I did however get at least one picture from every camera of the bagpiper, which I just find very funny

Re: Table camera advice
I don't think a scavenger hunt has anything to do with the level of a wedding or the maturity of the guests...I did one...and feel that my wedding was on the formal side...I asked guest to take pictures that the photographer might not get...and they did a great job...actually the older tables took better pictures than the younger ones..

Re: Table camera advice
dub very true the 4 foot rule! you are so right!!Yabbo, I couldn't expect my guests to do a scavenger hunt, alot were OLDER and sat most of the time, most of them didnt even dance much, never mind do that!
Also I saw pics of them on here & they never interested me. Sorry. Didn't mean it wrong

Re: Table camera advice
maybe we have 2 different meaning of the scavenger hunt...I asked to get the guest who travelled the farthest and the person with the nicest smile...
I didn't have them running around looking for things...
If you didn't like them...why did you do them?
