I had them; waste of money! Plus the pics all came out horrible (dark)

Michele, this is what I learned through Debi having table cameras at her 2008 Wedding.

1. Because she ordered cameras online, so she could tie in the palm trees on them, to her beach themed Wedding, we did not know until after the pics were developed that some of the cameras were defective. The pics were grainy and dark.
2. Many guests, took out-of-focus pics and IMO, wasted both Debi's and my money!!! (Debi bought the cameras, and I paid for the developing). I would never do it again!!!! Mary MOB

My friend did them at her wedding a couple of years ago and specifically told me not to waste my money on them. She said the pictures don't come out all that good and she got a large number of pictures from her husband's friends' private parts!

Oh, yea, there was one pic of a guest's backside, on the picture disk, but Wal-Mart wouldn't print it!!! You can imagine my surprise and disgust, when I copied the disk to my computer files and saw that pic!!! I got rid of it. And quite frankly, whoever did that IMO, was just plain disrespectful!!!!!! Michele... you know I will be 100% prepared lol prob with both cameras.....

I would forget it, its one more thing to spend money on... I'm sure you won't miss it either... maybe set up an account that ppl can upload their pics on

I did not have table cameras but my friend did... and she said it was a total waste!!!!! She said the pics came out awful & she wasted money developing them, some tables didn't use them at all or people took them home with them... she said it wasn't worth it.

i say no too, most people have digi cameras, and with an indoor wedding you will prolly only get very few good pictures.

instead i am going to put a note on the program to send my any pictures they may have taken- but in better words

My sister did it and it was such a waste. The pictures were such crappy quality - totally not worth the money spent. I'm going to put those snapfish cards on the tables in the hopes of people uploading their pictures there.

I was going to do this but I figured that our photographer will get pics too. Also it would cost a lot to develop so many cameras and some people might even take them! Most people now a days have their own digital and on my wedding website, there is a link to upload files. So when I send out thank yous, I will ask them to upload pics to share.

I think it seems a little old school. I'm doing the shutterfly thing where I leave little cards on the table for them to share pics from their cameras with us...

I say yay only because I went with digital cameras on my tables and they came out great :) there are a few places out there doing it but I found that Fotocera had the best quality cameras for the best price and honestly that was what I was looking for - NOT CHEAP DISPOSABLES. I attached a pic from them of me and my hubby cutting the cake

Not doing these. We have a lot of amateur photographers and not so amateur photographers in the family that we figured we'd get a ton from them.

GUYS.... THIS IS AN OLD THREAD... STOP RESPONDING...
THE OP IS MARRIED ALREADY AND I DON'T THINK SHE CARES ABOUT CAMERAS ON THE TABLES ANYMORE.

I think just someone new didn't realize that this was an old post and she commented on it. It happens.. i understand.. and I'm sure I did it when I was new too. Just be careful of this in the future. Use old threads for information only... not so much to respond to it.

Who the heck even cares enough? So what? There are much bigger things to be pizzed about! If you see its old, and calling it out is only more annoying than someone responding to an old thread. It happens, its not the end of the world, who cares?
