Table Names? Help!

If you're naming your tables, what is your theme?

I'm thinking of naming each table ater a LI vineyard, and then giving a bottle of wine from that particular winery as a favor. Question: My tables are round - and seat 12, but we'll only have 10 people at each table. Are 5 bottles of wine on the table going to crowd it? We're doing high candelabra centerpieces.

I saw this pic from the Bourne and liked the wine idea! I thought it looked really nice. Not crowded at all.

we had 10 or less @ oval tables of 12 & our favors were really big & breakable. We had the servers hand them out after they served cake. I gave them a list with the # per table. Our tables had names in frames, disp cameras & was afraid people would put the favors on the floor. It worked out great everyone got one. Just a suggestion.
I think your idea for table names is a great one. It really gives your guests something to talk about & makes your party special.

i wouldn't worry about being crowded...I was at a wedding and the favors were hidden under the centerpieces and it was still crowded...but its a wedding..youre there to have fun...

you could name the tables after types on wines

burgundy
merlot
chardoney
zinfindel

etc
