i picked up my place cards from my Reception Hall, did you guys use the RH place cards or are you making/buying your own...??
if you did use the RH place cards did you just write the names, getting a calligrapher, or using a type writer.... theyre so small i dont know how i could possibly even put them in the printer i dont have bad hand writing ... hmm

ill be making my own to match my theme (im doing a message in a bottle for each person). my RH didnt have them for us or else Id consider it to save money. who knows.

Im going to use mine from the RH and Im going to handwrite them. I dont see in point in spending money on getting them printed or calligraphy. People throw them away as soon as they are seated so why bother?

We are having the seating table names made and we are having someone do a custom seating chart instead of the name place cards

I am doing the same thing. The only thing that I will invest in is a nice pen!

Can you ask one of your BMs or MOH to write them if their handwriting is better?

if you want a professional look, but don't want to fork out $$$ for a calligrapher, just go to staples and get simple place cards that are designed for the computer printer. You can download a template from the vendor's website. it's sooooo easy, and looks pretty good, too
