Taken from 07 boards.. Waiting??

I know this day in age for someone to wait til their wedding night to have sex is amazingly difficult..

To any one who is..

But do you plan on abstaining from sex for a while before the wedding??

I was actually thinking about it. I know it would be really really hard But i think it would make that night a lil more special.. not that it needs to be anymore special.. but you get what im saying right??

I definately agree....we talked about it and after the new year of '08 we are NOT going to be having sex...yes ...I know

Its going to be very difficult but I kinda want it to be that much more special....

Yeah...I don't think that would ever fly w/my FH... we live together rt now. I think if we lived separtely maaaybe but there is no reason. I really don't get the point. It will be just as special and amazing the first time as a married couple.

lol.....hold out? for what?? if you have already what is the point.....I could never hold out....its special now, it will be special that day and every day after. Waiting isn't going to change it. I have seen wedding stress.....you don't need no-sex-stress on top of that.

If you are a virgin or never had sex with you FH. Then wait. That is speical.

wow good luck ...i told fh i want to for a month and he said a month?? i understand both views to this but i would like to hold out for a little while bc even though i know it will be special either way, it will be a little something extra that nigth if we do wait a little while, just my opinion

I agree and i seem to agree with everyones point on the subject because everyones opinion makes sense But i dont know if i would be able to do an entire year!! Good luck!!

Ok I had a friend that did this for a whole month prior to the wedding...I just don't get it?! Was this to make her feel like a virgin, that in that month she'll forget what it's like to have sex with FH and it will be special? IMO unless you're a virgin or you're not a virgin but you've never slept with FH, other than that I think it's just stupid to 'hold out'. But as stated before this is just my 'opinion'!
I think its just more intense..not so much to feel like a virgin again. I went 3mths without having sex with my FI...and the reason was to see if we could make it to the wedding night...well obviously that didnt work. But after 3mths of no sex...it makes that first time you do it again seem amazing...but thats just me..dont know about anyone else
